Meet The Makers
WOLFHOME is a collective of makers, artists, and curators working together to bring you sourced and local merchandise with an emphasis on luxury, comfort, beauty, nature, and sustainability. Most of our makers are female entrepreneurs, moms, and/or have other professions too. We wear many hats but this collective gives the opportunity to do what we love and create joy and happiness. Our Makers usually fit into the categories of hand-made, locally sourced, and/or women-owned.
Collaborating with other business-minded creatives fosters support and community and we are proud to showcase our little collective of makers in our shop. We support the #shopsmall, #shoplocal and #womenowned movements. Browse around and learn about our collective and know that your support of us, shopping local, and shopping small is really appreciated.
Thank You! Lisa Wolf
My Fancy Claws Kitty (and Pet) Corner
The other half of team Lisa/Lisa. We’ve known each other for 34 years (how can that be when we are only 35?). My Sigma Kappa little sister at Chico (say it with me, Chhhiiii-coooooo). We made some amazing memories together “back-in-the-day” and we continue to make more together here at the shop. Lisa “M” has always been an animal lover. In college she had a pet rat! She made me appreciate those cute little rodents. Now, she fosters rescued kittens and gets them all healthy to then be adopted to their “fur”ever families. Her kiddos have left the nest (for the most part) and she does this kitty corner business purely for enjoyment and to raise money for the many pet charities she works with. When you or your pet pick something from My Fancy Claws, you are helping other pets too.
Masefield Corner
Masefield Drive is an old tree lined street in an area in the Bay called Poet’s Corner where everyone knows your name, your kid’s names and even your dog’s name. Weekends are for backyard BBQs, bocce ball, and cocktails. We are happy to share a little bit of Masefield’s vintage and mid-century style here with you. Debbie, has been collecting treasures for years. Some of her favorites are American Pottery like McCoy and Roseville and mid-century glassware and décor. Debbie is fighting stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The daily fight has halted her dream of having her own little shop, so, we’re grateful to be able to sell some of her treasures here. When you buy something from Masefield Corner, we want you to know it’s coming from a loving curator with a fun style and you are helping bring a smile to a warrior and survivor (who also happens to be my sister).
NinnaLu (Marissa) is a certified gemstone healer and both offers workshops on and creates for the shop unique gemstone decor, ornaments, and charms. Customers can choose their gemstones for their beauty or for their energetic properties, which Marissa teaches in her workshops at WOLFHOME.
Heidi Garner Art. Heidi creates beautiful, colorful art of local iconic places. Our favorite is, of course, Folsom's Rainbow Bridge but her bright and whimsical interpretation of the Sacramento Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge are also spectacular. We've got cards, prints, stickers, and ornaments featuring her art.
